Alicia Marie is a television and media personality, freelance writer, business owner, fitness champion, and model currently splitting time in New York City, NY and Atlanta, Georgia. An avid fitness enthusiast and movement expert, Alicia has been a fitness and health contributor on various television and radio programs such as Good Day New York, the WB11 morning news, MSNBC and MAXIM radio.

Alicia was also the host of HBO’s cult program, CHAT ZONE. Prior to working with HBO, she could be seen co-hosting the Comcast Cable Network’s half-hour weekend primetime program, Scene 8 on CN8. She was a featured character on Comedy Central’s The Dave Chappelle Show.
Alicia Marie has been able to develop her love of performance and her knowledge and experience in the health and fitness industry into national recognition as a BSN spokesmodel, fitness athlete, magazine columnist and expert. As the first ever Ms. Muscle & Fitness 2006, Alicia has appeared on the pages of Muscle & Fitness magazine, HERS, Oxygen, Flex magazine, Ironman, Musclemag, Planet Muscle, Fitness, SELF, O Magazine, Glamour, Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness and most recently on the covers of Fitness RX for women and Oxygen magazine. As a freelance fitness writer, her articles, dating advice column and workouts have appeared in numerous publications such as Men’s Health and Men’s Edge magazines.

In early 2007, Alicia flexed her entrepreneurial muscles by launching and incorporating a fitness consulting company called PROJECT: BODY Fitness, which launched The HotBody Project™ fitness and nutrition workshops for women (www.thehotbodyproject.com). The popular one or two-day workshops, simply referred to as HOTBODY™, feature speakers, demonstrations and give-aways. Ms. Marie made her mark in the competitive arena by capturing numerous regional, national and international titles such as Ms. Bikini Universe 2004 - besting over 115 candidates from all over the world and taking the overall. Alicia was also a top finisher in the Canadian International Fitness Championships – an event considered in the industry to be one of the most competitive national-level fitness performance competitions in the world.
No stranger to being in print, Alicia Marie has lent her well-known body parts to commercial product endorsement. Her famous rear-end was the focus of Jergens Firming Body Lotion“You Bet Your Bottom” national ad campaign and the Curel Body lotion national advertisements. Previously, Alicia’s abdominals could be seen on billboards and in magazines nationwide as the spotlight of the Eggbeaters “0% Fat” national campaign.
Alicia Marie graduated Cum Laude and with Honors and Distinction from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Neuroscience and Psychology. She has studied writing for broadcast news and reporting at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and is currently studying nutrition at Columbia University’s Teachers College affiliate, IIN.
