Giving her parents the credit for encouragement, Dana Linn Bailey loves building her body. Much like many other competitors, Bailey started in sports young. At age five she on the swim team and from there took to playing soccer, basketball, field hockey, softball, and ran track all while maintaining her academics. She was recruited to play soccer for West Chester University, as a starting defender and helped to lead her team to NCAA’s and playoffs. So how’d she get here? Dana Linn Bailey started to attend the gym with her then boyfriend and began lifting. A naturally competitive type, Dana Linn started competing with herself in the form on miniature challenges. She enjoyed lifting weight and often tried to beat the weight she lifted last, increasing the weights all along.
Throughout her career, Dana Linn Bailey has also placed first in the 2012 NPC Panhandle Championships, 2012 NPC Teen Collegiate Masters National Championships, second in the 2012 IFBB Valenti Gold Cup Pro, fourth in the Europa Show of Champions Orlando, sixteenth in the 2013 IFBB New York Pro, seventh in the IFBB Greater Gulf Pro, first in the 2014 Europa Show and second in Women’s Physique at the 2014 IFBB Olympia Weekend. Bailey is in business, big business! “Beyond the world of competing… we started Flag Nor Fail clothing line, and were printing shirts out of garage. We now moved from a garage in 2011, to a 40,000 square foot warehouse in 2013 and have been here almost a full year! In that year we built The Speed WarHouse, which is our car performance shop that builds monster race and performance cars and also my baby, The Warhouse Gym, where we hold WarHouse Gym camps ever single month.” Body and brains to boot!
With a humbling attitude of gratitude Dana Linn Bailey shares, “Thank you to all of my fans for all your support that you have shown me. You are what motivate me every single day in the gym and in my life!! Confidence is the most beautiful and rewarding asset that anyone can ever poses. So live life, be happy, and be confident with who you are and where you are going!” You keep going too Dana! We’ll be watching!
