Bodybuilding.com recently named Moorea Wolfe Amateur fitness competitor of the week, with great reason I might add. We see it often; one sport’s loss is another sport’s gain. Moorea Wolfe has a story that is no different. The young, very young, adult came to love bodybuilding after she had to retire from gymnastics due to a back injury. She would first train at the Cirque Du Soleil School, in Quebec, for about a year. It was during this time she started reading fitness and bodybuilding magazines.
Having participated in only one competition, she’s just getting started and we can’t wait to see how she does. “Right now I have so many goals for myself in this sport and I feel its totally necessary for me to start out at my age so I can do it for a long time” says Moorea Wolfe. Perhaps you’re wondering her favorite part of her body- her legs. And her strongest are her legs and back. Sounding just like a seasoned pro, Moorea shares her workout routine. I never do the same workout. I change it every week as far as how many reps, sets, and exercises I do for whatever body part I’m training that day. I only train one body part a day in the off season so I can fully concentrate and put in 100% effort one that specific muscle. Lately I’ve been doing high volume training, which is working well. You get great pumps from it too. ” Added Wolfe, “Even though I’m a fitness competitor I diet like a bodybuilder, I eat very clean, basic lean meats, veggies, brown rice, etc. I don’t eat refined sugar or bread, pasta and dairy ever.”
“Being in the best shape of your life can bring very positive outlooks on every aspect of yourself and reflections on others… Helping others overcome obstacles and or reaching personal fitness goals is such a privilege for me too see, and to be a part of.” An attitude like this will keep Moorea ever present in the bodybuilding world for years to come. Welcome, young lady Wolfe.
