“Strong is the new skinny,” is Jennifer Nicole Lee’s mantra. Struggling with her weight her entire life, Jennifer Nicole Lee proclaims that she has “no athletic background whatsoever.” Jennifer weighed 170lbs when she got married, and kept gaining weight during both of her pregnancies, going all the way up to 200 pounds after her second baby was born. Jennifer Nicole Lee became a fitness icon when she shed 70 pounds, and won the title “Miss Bikini America” in 1996, and started a career as a “fitness guru.” She then created JNL in January 2004. Also a line of swimwear was launched. Up until 2012, she’s appeared on 44 magazine covers.
Named Muscle & Fitness Magazine’s 2006 Ms. Muscle and Fitness, a title she shared with fellow fitness model Alicia Marie, she didn’t stop there. Lee went on to be brand ambassador for a nutritional supplement company Bio-Engineered Supplements and Nutrition. In 2012, CBS News named Lee as “America’s Sexiest Fitness Mom. In 2011, Lee was named one of the “Top Three Females in the Fitness Industry” by Yahoo Sports. Lee was also named one of Splash Online’s Best Celebrity Bikini Babes of 2011.
In March 2011, Jennifer opened the Fitness Model Factory in Miami, Florida. The “factory” is a video production and photography studio containing hair and makeup styling, and coaching for fitness models.
She has used her incredible story to launch a fitness and lifestyle empire.
