Huong Arcinas, (Ho), came to the U.S. at 3 years old, growing up she was always active and enjoyed cheerleading and running. When she was 18, she was first introduced to weight training. She appeared in Ironman Mag on September 2008 and Flex Magazine in May 2010, making a huge impression in the arena of bodybuilding. Huong Arcinas, representing from X-body CrossFit Silicon Valley!!
Arcinas’ competition history is impressive; Huong has competed in the 2004 NPC Contra Costa Bodybuilding, Fitness & Figure Championships placing second. She returned the very next year and took home first place, In the National Physique Committee Contra Costa Bodybuilding, Fitness & Figure Championships. The National Physique Committee is the premier amateur physique organization in the world. 2007 was a huge year for Huong Arcinas, she placed first in three competitions; The IFBB Sacramento Pro Figure Grand Prix and the NPC Team Universe Bodybuilding, Fitness And Figure Championships and the NPC Gaspari Nutrition Jr. USA Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships. Huong also did well in the 2007 NPC Emerald Cup Bodybuilding, Fitness, and Figure placing third as well a second place at the NPC Junior Nationals Bodybuilding, Fitness And Figure Contest. Huong went on to win eight more titles in 2008 and 2009 alone.
Huong Arcinas has a demonstrated love for bodybuilding. The testament to her knowledge and commitment to fitness is Huong trains other bodybuilders. She began with Kristy Wilce in 2012 and that same year and she placed seventh in her class and first in the Figure Master’s class at the NPC Contra Costa Bodybuilding, Figure, Physique & Bikini Championships. Huong Arcinas’ legacy of winning continued as she also lead Kristy to victory in the 2013 NPC Contra Costa Bodybuilding, Figure, Physique & Bikini Championships winning third place in her class, with only six weeks notice.
