A competitive gymnast for 12 years, Nicole Wilkins had two knee surgeries and decided to move on to a new chapter of her life. Being involved and interested in the whole aspect of health and wellness, she loved watching fitness competitions on TV. After attending the Arnold Classic in 2002, she was instantly hooked with an insatiable desire to learn more and more about the sport.

She loves the challenge that the sport of fitness brings. She says, “I am and always will be a competitor and I love being on stage”. She shares, “this sport takes a lot of hard work, dedication and discipline in order to be successful. Fitness has given me confidence and helped me to become more health conscious.” The workout plan that has been most effective for Nicole, is training single body parts six days a week. And includes plyometrics and gymnastics two days a week. “Cardio also plays an important role in staying lean and changing up my program keeps my body challenged”, says Nicole. During the off-season she still eats good but never passes up a piece of cheesecake!!!

When asked about her favorite fitness personalities, she says, “I have too many favorites to pick just one. I look up to anyone who has the dedication to be successful in the sport of fitness, figure and bodybuilding. I do admire Monica Brant’s physique, Suzie Curry’s stage presence and Kelly Ryan’s incredible routines. I also look up to and appreciate all the support my training partner Alan Lee has given me! He motivates me daily to do my best~ I can’t thank him enough!” Nicole Wilkins endeavors to learn something new about herself every day and hopes to be a role model and motivator to those who want fitness to become a part of their life also.
